Welcome to Michael Blyth Photography, owned and run by me - Michael Blyth.

I specialise in providing families and individuals with the most natural portraits available.
Shot on location from Cornwall to Northumberland, Scotland, Continental Europe and beyond, often incorporating places or activities meaningful to you.
Great contemporary headshots are a natural progression from my relaxed portrait work.
Like my portrait work, I travel to wherever, and believe in the importance of a relevant backdrop, but often out of focus.
School portraits provide wonderful memories of this early stage of life.
My photoshoots take place in the grounds of the school, incorporating fun, laughter, and adventure. The portraits are always presented in black and white and are a far cry from the usually staged school photos.
